What format and size is the file?
Every .su domain list and dataset is a CSV file compressed with gzip (.csv.gz):
the basic list has one domain name per line, the detailed dataset has one row per domain with the columns described in the
dataset format details.
Compressed, the current .su basic list is about 435 KB and the detailed dataset about 1.3 MB.
Any archiver opens gzip files, for example the free

and the API can also serve the files uncompressed (format=plain).

After the dismantlement of the Soviet Union on 26 December 1991, news was circulating to withdraw the .su from ICANN. But the domain was not replaced and is still in use due to the popular demand of internet users and the Russian government.
