NETAPI.COM Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026

NetAPI ("us", "we", or "our"), operated by CodeRockers LTD (registered in Cyprus, European Union), operates the https://netapi.com website including all subdomains (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible from https://netapi.com/tos/.

The Service is a domain-data and API platform. Users cannot upload, publish, or host user-generated content on the Service. Accounts are used to sign in, manage subscriptions, and access downloads and API features.

Definitions

  • Service

Service is the https://netapi.com website (including all subdomains) operated by CodeRockers LTD (NetAPI).

  • Personal Data

Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

  • Usage Data

Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

  • Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device (computer or mobile device).

  • Data Controller

Data Controller means the natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information are, or are to be, processed.

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, CodeRockers LTD is the Data Controller of your Personal Data.

We may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.

Data Subject is any living individual who is using our Service and is the subject of Personal Data.

Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Types of Data Collected

Account and customer Personal Data

While using our Service, we may collect personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Depending on how you use the Service, this may include:

  • Email address (required for account registration and sign-in)
  • Name or profile details provided by Google if you sign in with Google OAuth
  • API token and subscription / plan information associated with your account
  • Billing identifiers (for example, Stripe customer or checkout session IDs); we do not store full payment card numbers
  • Support messages you send us (for example, by email or chat)
  • Cookies and Usage Data, as described below

We may use your Personal Data to contact you about the Service, billing, security notices, and — where permitted — product updates or marketing messages. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link or the instructions in any such email, or by contacting us.

Usage Data and security logs

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

For security, fraud prevention, and service operation, we may also log:

  • Sign-in events (including IP address)
  • API and download requests (including IP address, token, and request metadata)
  • Approximate location / country derived from IP address (for example, to display currency)

Domain datasets and crawled public information (not user content)

Separately from account Personal Data, the Service provides commercial domain lists, datasets, and related research data. Those products may include information collected by automated crawls of publicly available websites and public internet sources (for example, domain names, DNS records, server IPs, and contact details published on websites).

This crawled product data is not content uploaded by Users of the Service, and it is not the Personal Data you submit when creating an account. This Privacy Policy primarily covers Personal Data of visitors and customers of the Service.

Where crawled data includes personal data (for example, a contact email or phone number published on a website), we process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing domain-intelligence products, limited to information the site owner has made publicly available. Our crawler fetches only a site's homepage, at most a few times per month, identifies itself with the User-Agent NetAPI/1.1 (+https://netapi.com/bot.html), and honours robots.txt; see netapi.com/bot.html for details and how to exclude your site.

If you are a website owner or an individual whose contact details appear in our datasets and you want them removed or excluded from future crawls, contact us at [email protected] with the domain name concerned. We will process such requests without undue delay, and you may also exercise the GDPR rights described below in relation to this data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including pixels and scripts) to operate the Service, remember preferences, measure traffic, and — where applicable — support advertising and conversion measurement.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.

We group cookies and similar technologies into these categories:

  • Essential / session cookies. Required to run the Service (for example, keeping you signed in). The Service may not work correctly without them.
  • Security cookies. Used for security and abuse prevention (for example, Cloudflare bot-protection cookies such as cf_clearance, and sign-in protection such as Google reCAPTCHA).
  • Analytics cookies. Help us understand how the Service is used (for example, Google Analytics via Google tags).
  • Advertising / marketing cookies. Used to measure campaigns and show or optimise ads (for example, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising / Bing UET, OpenAI Ads, and Meta / Facebook advertising tags, which may be loaded directly or via Google Tag Manager / Google tags).

You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. For analytics and advertising cookies, you can also use the opt-out tools described in the Service Providers section below, or industry tools such as http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EU) and http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (US).

Where required by applicable law (including GDPR), we rely on your consent for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies, and you may withdraw that consent at any time via browser controls, vendor opt-outs, or by contacting us. Continuing to use the Service after we have presented cookie choices (where available) or after adjusting your browser settings constitutes your choice regarding those technologies to the extent permitted by law.

Use of Data

NetAPI uses the collected account and Usage Data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service (accounts, downloads, API access, billing)
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To provide customer support (including chat where available)
  • To gather analysis so that we can improve our Service
  • To monitor the usage of our Service and measure marketing conversions
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
  • To provide you with Service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications unless you have opted out

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar rules, CodeRockers LTD's legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.

We may process your Personal Data because:

  • We need to perform a contract with you (or take steps at your request before a contract)
  • You have given us consent to do so (for example, for certain marketing cookies or emails)
  • The processing is in our legitimate interests and it is not overridden by your rights (for example, securing the Service, basic analytics, and improving the product)
  • For payment processing purposes
  • To comply with the law

Retention of Data

NetAPI will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

NetAPI will also retain Usage Data and security/API logs for internal analysis, security, and operational purposes. Such data is generally retained for a limited period, except when longer retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or to improve the Service.

Transfer of Data

CodeRockers LTD is established in Cyprus (European Union). Your information, including Personal Data, is primarily processed in connection with operating the Service from the EU. However, some Service Providers we use may process data in other countries, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

When Personal Data is transferred outside the EEA/UK, we take steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including relying on appropriate safeguards offered by our Service Providers (such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms), where required.

NetAPI will not transfer your Personal Data to an organisation or a country unless adequate controls are in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.

  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of NetAPI / CodeRockers LTD
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public
  • To protect against legal liability

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. NetAPI aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete or limit the use of your Personal Data.

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests.

You have the right to complain to a Data Protection Authority about our collection and use of your Personal Data. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA). As CodeRockers LTD is established in Cyprus, you may also contact the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
