What format and size is the file?
Every .com domain list and dataset is a CSV file compressed with gzip (.csv.gz):
the basic list has one domain name per line, the detailed dataset has one row per domain with the columns described in the
dataset format details.
Compressed, the current .com basic list is about 883 MB and the detailed dataset about 3.4 GB.
Any archiver opens gzip files, for example the free
7-Zip on Windows,
and the API can also serve the files uncompressed (format=plain).

No. We collect contact details from public websites when available. Many domains have no published email or phone, and we do not guarantee these fields on every row. Do not use the data for unsolicited bulk outreach.
