What format and size is the file?

Every .post domain list and dataset is a CSV file compressed with gzip (.csv.gz): the basic list has one domain name per line, the detailed dataset has one row per domain with the columns described in the dataset format details. Compressed, the current .post basic list is about 1 KB and the detailed dataset about 1 KB. Any archiver opens gzip files, for example the free 7-Zip on Windows, and the API can also serve the files uncompressed (format=plain).

Are emails and phone numbers available for every domain?

No. We collect contact details from public websites when available. Many domains have no published email or phone, and we do not guarantee these fields on every row. Do not use the data for unsolicited bulk outreach.

The .post domain is a sponsored top-level domain operated by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), the United Nations agency that coordinates postal services worldwide. It was delegated on August 2, 2012, and was one of the first new TLDs approved after the original sponsored round of 2004.

.post is a restricted extension: registrations are limited to designated postal operators, postal regulators, UPU member countries and other organisations that are part of the global postal sector. Each application is verified against the UPU's eligibility policy, which is why the zone contains only a few hundred domains, mostly national posts, postal industry bodies and e-commerce and logistics services run by them. The registry back-end is provided by Identity Digital. Although small, .post is a trusted namespace for postal-related services.
