It is a country code top-level domain(ccTLD) introduced on March 15, 1995, for Nigerian individuals or businesses to target the local audience. It is managed by the Nigeria Internet Registration Association(NiRA), which has been administering it since 2007. After its launch, Randolph Quaynor was the one who managed the .ng TLD domain till then.
