Can I download sample datasets for the .cg zone?

What is a basic domain list, and how does it differ from a detailed dataset?

Both cover the same 628 registered domain names in the .cg zone. A basic list is one domain name per line in a gzip CSV. A detailed dataset adds DNS servers, server IP, hostname, emails, phone numbers, and more. See the dataset format details.

How often are .cg datasets updated?

The .cg zone is a country-code (ccTLD) zone, and its registry zone file is not directly accessible. NetAPI discovers .cg domains through large-scale crawls: newly discovered domains are added to the list daily, and the full dataset is rebuilt every one to two months. See how updates work.

Can I download only newly registered .cg domains?

Not for this zone. Newly discovered .cg domains are merged into the active list daily, but there is no separate new-domains file for .cg. Daily new-domains lists exist for the zones marked as updated daily in the datasets catalog.

What format and size is the file?

Every .cg domain list and dataset is a CSV file compressed with gzip (.csv.gz): the basic list has one domain name per line, the detailed dataset has one row per domain with the columns described in the dataset format details. Compressed, the current .cg basic list is about 3 KB and the detailed dataset about 10 KB. Any archiver opens gzip files, for example the free 7-Zip on Windows, and the API can also serve the files uncompressed (format=plain).

Are emails and phone numbers available for every domain?

No. We collect contact details from public websites when available. Many domains have no published email or phone, and we do not guarantee these fields on every row. Do not use the data for unsolicited bulk outreach.
