What is a basic domain list and how does it differ from a detailed dataset?

Both datasets include the same number of domains (for the .fun zone there are currently 424,015 unique domain names).
A simple domain sheet contains _only_ a list of domains (one domain per line). The detailed dataset also contains a set of additional fields (DNS servers, IP, emails and phone numbers found on the corresponding domains/websites, etc.). More information about the extended dataset file format can be found here.

What are "active" and "new" domains?

The .fun datasets are updated daily. When we say “active domains”, we mean all delegated domains. This means that they have at least one DNS server assigned to them (i.e. they appear in the global zone-lists of .com zones). If a domain is not delegated, it is absent in global zone-lists and in our list. Non-delegated domains are an insignificant part of delegated domains, so they can be neglected.

Since we update our data every day, we understand which domains have appeared in and which have disappeared from the global zone lists. Based on this difference, we compile our lists of new domains.

I need to set up a daily import of domain lists to my server. I don't want to download it manually every day. What should I do?

For the convenience of other developers, we have created a special and very convenient API, which allows you to download both any selected dataset individually and the total dataset of all domains at once. Read the full description of the API here.

The detailed dataset contains emails and phone numbers. Are they for every domain?

Please do not use our data for mass mailings. Of course, they can be used for targeted cold outreach, but only after careful filtering and only if done within the law. We take emails and phone numbers from the websites of the respective dataset domains. Note that many sites do not have these data, so we do not guarantee that these data are present in the dataset for a particular domain.

In recent years, many new generic top-level domains were introduced in the digital space. One of the latest released domains is the .fun domain extension. The word fun is linked with excitement and the .fun was built to provide a platform for comedians and businesses with light-hearted content.

.fun was introduced in December 2016, and publicly launched in 2017. At first, it was under the supervision of Oriental Trading Company, and then the administration shifted to Radix on October 4, 2016. It is currently owned and operated by
DotSpace, also known as Radix Registry, which manages multiple generic top-level domains.

Over the years, the .fun domain has gained popularity and is widely used by entertainment websites. It has no geographical or regional restrictions, and anyone worldwide can register for this domain extension. It has no subdomain and gives an appealing impression to individuals, organizations, and businesses.

Here, you can download the list of .fun domains, as well as .auto domain zone lists, .健康 domain zone lists, and others.
